How to take Neuralisse

Last updated October 11, 2026Who wrote and checked this page

The label gives one sentence of directions. This page prints that sentence, then sets out the eight things worth knowing around it — the storage range, the seal condition, the magnesium arithmetic if you already take some, and the one screen that holds the only price and the only guarantee that exist.

One capsule a day. That is the whole of the printed instruction: “As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily.” The label gives no time of day, no food instruction and no stated maximum, though its caution block does open with “Do not exceed recommended dose.” Storage is a cool dry place below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F), and the label says not to use the product if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

That caution block deserves a sentence of credit before this page moves on. This warning block is complete and well drafted. It names the dose limit, the age restriction, pregnancy and nursing, medication and medical conditions. Several products in this series manage less.

Eight steps, in order

The first three are how to take it. The last five are the ones that cost money, evidence or peace of mind if they are skipped.

  1. 01Read the panel once before the first capsuleThirty seconds, once. Everything worth knowing is on it: one capsule is the serving, there are thirty in the bottle, the declared magnesium is 80 mg at 19% of the Daily Value, and the blend is 575 mg across six ingredients. The whole panel is transcribed here.
  2. 02Check the safety seal before anything elseThe label says it in as many words: “Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing.” That is a condition on the product, not advice. If the seal is broken when the bottle arrives, the capsules are not to be taken, and the photograph you take of it is the only evidence you will have when you call the order desk.
  3. 03Take one capsule a dayThe printed instruction is one sentence: “As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily.” No time of day is given, no food instruction is given, and no maximum is stated. One capsule is the serving the panel is built on, so every figure on this site doubles if two are taken.
  4. 04Add this 80 mg to any magnesium you already takeThis is the one piece of arithmetic that matters for safety rather than value. NIH ODS sets the Tolerable Upper Intake Level for supplemental magnesium at 350 mg a day and records that higher intakes “often result in diarrhea”. One capsule is about 23% of that. A separate 200 or 400 mg magnesium tablet beside it changes the picture completely.
  5. 05Tell your prescriber what is in the bottle, not what the box saysThe label’s own caution tells a reader on medication to consult a physician, and NCCIH records that coenzyme Q10 “may interact with the anticoagulant (blood thinner) warfarin and the diabetes drug insulin”. At a ceiling near 1.5 mg that is context rather than a warning — but a prescriber should have the whole list, including the five ingredients with no printed amount.
  6. 06Keep it cool, dry and closedPrinted on the label: “Store this product in a cool dry place below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F)” and “Keep out of reach of children.” A car in summer is outside that range by a wide margin, and a bathroom cabinet fails the dry half of it.
  7. 07Photograph the checkout screen before you payIt is the only place a price and a guarantee length exist. Nothing supplied to this desk quotes either, so nothing on this site can tell you what you are agreeing to. A screenshot costs nothing and is the only record you will have.
  8. 08Write the lot number down on the day the bottle arrivesThe lot and the best-before are printed on the base of the bottle when the bottle shows them; they are not legible on the artwork supplied. They are the two strings the order desk will ask for if anything goes wrong. The batch page explains what else to check.

Storage and the seal

Two printed instructions do more work than they look like they do. One sets a temperature ceiling; the other sets a condition under which the product is not to be used at all.

The two printed conditions, and what each one rules out.
As printed on the labelWhat it means in practice
“Store this product in a cool dry place below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F).”A temperature ceiling and a humidity instruction in one line. A parked car in summer exceeds the first by a wide margin; a bathroom cabinet fails the second. A kitchen cupboard away from the hob satisfies both.
“Keep out of reach of children.”Printed twice — once in the storage block and once in the boxed label lines. A capsule bottle with a child-resistant closure still has to be out of reach.
“Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing.”A condition, not advice. If the seal is broken on arrival the capsules are not to be taken. Photograph the seal and the bottle before opening anything, because that photograph is the only evidence a buyer will have.
Best before and lotPrinted on the base of the bottle when the bottle shows them, and not legible on the artwork supplied. Write both down on arrival.

The seal line is the one to act on. A buyer who opens a bottle before photographing it has no way to show the seal was intact, and the guarantee’s conditions are not published in any document supplied to this desk — so nobody can say in advance what evidence a return will require. What is and is not published about the guarantee is set out here.

What to add it to, and what not to

Most of what this product contains is present in quantities too small to stack with anything. One ingredient is not, and it is the one with a published upper limit.

80 mg against the two figures NIH ODS publishesOne capsule, the Daily Value, and the upper limit for supplemental magnesium.
10 mg100 mg1 g

The magnesium figure against the two numbers the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements publishes: a Daily Value of 420 mg, and a Tolerable Upper Intake Level of 350 mg for magnesium taken as a supplement. At 80 mg a capsule this product is at about 23% of that upper limit, which is a point in its favour.

At 80 mg a capsule this product uses about 23% of the 350 mg upper limit NIH ODS sets for supplemental magnesium — 80 ÷ 350 = 22.9%. That headroom is a point in the product’s favour on its own. It disappears quickly in a stack.

  • A separate magnesium supplement. Common tablets are 200 or 400 mg. A 400 mg tablet is already above the 350 mg supplemental upper limit before this capsule is counted, and ODS records that high doses “often result in diarrhea”.
  • A multivitamin or a magnesium-containing laxative or antacid. Both are supplemental magnesium for the purposes of that limit. Read the labels and add the figures.
  • Warfarin or insulin, without telling your prescriber. NCCIH records that coenzyme Q10 may interact with both. The ceiling here is about 1.5 mg, so this is context rather than a warning — but the word warfarin appears nowhere on the product, and your prescriber should have the full list.
  • A second nerve formula bought at the same time. Two proprietary blends means twelve ingredients and two sets of unpublished amounts, and no way to total any of them.

Every documented caution for all six ingredients is set out on the safety page, with the source for each and an explicit note where there is no source at all.

What the label does not say

A directions page is only as useful as its gaps are visible. These are the usage questions this site cannot answer, because nothing published answers them.

Ten usage questions, and what is published about each.
QuestionWhat is publishedWhere that leaves a buyer
Time of dayNot publishedThe label says “daily” and no more. No document supplied suggests one.
With or without foodNot publishedNo instruction appears on the label or in any supplied material.
Maximum daily amountA rule, not a figure“Do not exceed recommended dose” is printed. The recommended dose is one capsule.
How long to take it forNot publishedNo course length, no cycle and no break interval.
What to do about a missed dayNot publishedNo guidance; the practical answer is to carry on rather than double up.
Age range18 and overPrinted in the caution block, along with pregnancy and nursing.
How much of each blend ingredientNot publishedFive of the six carry no figure. Every number on this site for those five is a ceiling derived from the printed magnesium declaration.
Best before datePrinted, not legibleOn the base of the bottle when the bottle shows it; unreadable on the artwork supplied.
The price, and the guarantee lengthNot publishedBoth are shown at the checkout. No figure for either appears in any document supplied to this desk.

The last row is the one that should change a buyer’s behaviour. Read the checkout screen before you pay, photograph it, and keep the order email.

Questions people actually ask

Twelve questions, phrased the way people type them. Each answer is sourced or says plainly that nothing is published. Type to filter.

how do you take neuralisse

One capsule a day. The printed instruction is the whole of it: “As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily.” The label sets no time of day, gives no food instruction and states no maximum. Nothing published says whether the capsule should be taken with water, although a capsule is normally easier to swallow with some. Store it in a cool dry place below 30 degrees C and do not use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

how many neuralisse capsules per day

One. The panel gives a serving size of 1 capsule and 30 servings a container, and the label gives no second serving and no loading phase. Every figure on this site is per capsule: the 80 mg of magnesium, the 575 mg blend and the roughly 7.5 mg shared by five ingredients. Two capsules doubles all three, including the magnesium.

best time to take neuralisse

Nothing published states one. The label says “daily” and no more: no morning, no evening, no with-food or without-food instruction. This site will not invent a preference. The practical argument is for a fixed trigger rather than a clock — an existing daily habit is a better alarm than an intention — but that is a point about remembering to take it, not a finding about the product.

should i take neuralisse with food

Not published. No food instruction appears on the label or in any document supplied. What can be said is what is in the capsule: 80 mg of magnesium as the glycinate, and NIH ODS records glycinate among the better tolerated forms. If a capsule is uncomfortable on an empty stomach, taking it with a meal is an ordinary thing to do, and nothing published argues against it.

can i take two neuralisse capsules a day

The label gives one, and its caution block opens with “Do not exceed recommended dose.” That is a printed instruction, so the answer on this site is no. Two capsules would also put 160 mg of supplemental magnesium into a day against the 350 mg upper limit NIH ODS publishes, before anything else you take is counted.

how long does a bottle of neuralisse last

Thirty days at the label serving: thirty capsules, one a day. Three bottles is ninety days and six bottles is a hundred and eighty. That last figure is worth holding against the guarantee, whose length is not published in any document supplied — the pack says only “As printed on the live checkout”. Six months of product bought against an unknown window is a decision a buyer should make deliberately.

how long does neuralisse take to work

Nothing published answers that, and this site has no answer to offer. No clinical trial of this product exists and no document supplied claims one. The one ingredient with a federal file relevant to nerves is magnesium, and that file is about correcting a deficiency rather than about a timeline. The reasoning is set out in full on the timeline page.

can i take neuralisse with magnesium

Add the two figures together first. One capsule carries 80 mg of magnesium, and NIH ODS sets the upper limit for supplemental magnesium at 350 mg a day, recording that higher intakes “often result in diarrhea”. One capsule is about 23% of that limit; a 400 mg tablet beside it is over the limit on its own. The label says to consult a physician if you have a medical condition.

can i take neuralisse with warfarin

That is a question for your prescriber, and there is a specific reason to ask it. NCCIH records that coenzyme Q10 “may interact with the anticoagulant (blood thinner) warfarin and the diabetes drug insulin”. CoQ10 is sixth of six here, at a ceiling of about 1.5 mg, so this is context rather than a warning. The word warfarin appears nowhere on the product, which is why it appears here.

can i take neuralisse with my medication

The label answers this itself: “Consult with a physician prior to use especially if you are taking a medication or have a medical condition.” Take the panel to that conversation rather than the sales graphic, and say plainly that five of the six blend ingredients carry no printed amount. That is itself information a prescriber will want, and it is the honest state of the label.

how should neuralisse be stored

In a cool dry place below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F), out of reach of children, and not used at all if the safety seal is damaged or missing — all three printed on the label. The boxed lines on the artwork repeat the first two. A car in summer and a steamy bathroom cabinet both fail that instruction, one on temperature and one on humidity.

what if i miss a day of neuralisse

Nothing published says, and there is no loading dose or taper on the label to be disrupted. The practical answer is to carry on the next day rather than take two, because the caution block says not to exceed the recommended dose. Nothing on the bottle describes a course length, a cycle or a break interval either.

Read the blend row before you decide

Thirty capsules, one a day. The panel declares 80 mg of magnesium at 19% of the Daily Value, and a 575 mg blend of six ingredients. The magnesium declaration fixes the weight of the first ingredient at about 567.5 mg, which leaves roughly 7.5 mg for the other five together. No price appears anywhere but the checkout.
